Unique repair service for Krones labelling machines

Krones has designed specific machines for labelling containers in the food, drink and packaging industry. They include beer bottles, pots and others container types. The machines ensure that each bottle is positioned in the same way, so that each label is placed precisely in the same position on the bottle. This is done using a carousel. The carousel is equipped with a maximum number of 60 servomotors. Each servomotor features an integrated servo-drive. These servomotors were designed for Krones by Danfoss. The servomotor with the integrated servo-drive has an article number ISD401 (175G7000 / 175G7020).

Maintenance on Krones labelling machines

Krones specifies a certain number of running hours for the servomotor. After these running hours it is advisable to replace the bearings and gaskets (sealing rings). It is also possible for the electronics to become defective. Preventative maintenance and repairs prevent downtime in your production process.

UNIS Group has also developed a unique test system with an accompanying software to comprehensively test the servomotors after they have been repaired.
