About Special Repairs

On receipt of the defective industrial electronics they are, if necessary, cleaned. After cleaning and confirming the quotation with the customer, the electronics will be repaired.

The basis for each repair is to exchange time critical components. Then, according to our specialists, we exchange the components that are prone to malfunctions. We carry out comprehensive fault research to find the defect. Once the repair has been completed, we partially or fully test the electronics.

Specials can be a wide variety of industrial electronics such as custom-made electronics, electronics that are unknown and without any information or electronics that have been modified.

Our specialists ensure a professional repair. Testing specials is carried out at component level with an oscilloscope and curve tracer.

Large variety of brands

No matter what industrial electronics you have, we will help you. We service many brands, modules and series, including customer-specific electronics or electronics that are no longer supported by the manufacturer.

We repair the following brands, among others: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Lenze , ABB, Indramat and Omron

Fixed prices

After the electronic part has been received, you will receive a quote. We have a database consisting of over 300,000 different industrial electronics, each with their repair price. The repair price is fixed. You know in advance the amount you have to pay.

No cure, no pay

All repairs are carried out on a no cure, no pay basis. In exceptional cases, when we are not able to repair your electronics, no fee will be charged. Depending on our agreement the repair will either be shipped back to you or recycled in a responsible manner.

Urgent repairs

Has your production process come to a halt due to defective electronics? Urgent repairs ensure that your production process is restarted as soon as possible.

This is often unknown. Our specialists will determine this by inspecting your module when it arrives at UNIS Group.

Why do I need to provide a description of the issue?

A detailed description of the issue helps our specialists to diagnose the fault faster, reducing the time taken to repair your module.

Are specials repairs charged at a higher rate?

No, we do not charge a higher rate for specials. Sometimes, the repair costs are calculated after the repair work has been completed. This post-calculation of costs mainly applies to projects. This will be discussed with you in advance.

How long will the repair take?

This is different for every module. It can be affected by various factors, such as the availability of the components required for the repair.

Can UNIS Group provide a replacement module during the repair?

Sometimes, but this is usually not possible for special modules.
