6GK7343-1CX10-0XE0 by SIEMENS is a communications processor designed to connect simatic s7-300 to industrial ethernet using tcp/ip and udp protocols. It supports multicast, send/receive operations with and without rfc1006, fetch/write functionality, and s7 communication in server mode. The cp 343-1 lean model includes an integrated 2-port switch ertec 200, which allows for easy module replacement without programming tools. Additional features include snmp diagnostics, initialization via lan, and dual rj45 connections for lan supporting speeds of 10/100 mbit/s. This product is currently in the PM400 phase, with phase-out having started on 01.10.2023. While it is repairable, repairs by UNIS Group can extend its usability, even if it might not be future-proof.
